getCausalChain

public static java.util.List<java.lang.Throwable> getCausalChain(java.lang.Throwable throwable)

Returns the Throwable's cause chain as a list. The first entry is the Throwable followed by the cause chain.

Parameters:

throwable - The Throwable

Returns:

The Throwable and its cause chain

toErrorItem

public static ErrorItem toErrorItem(java.lang.String logMessage,
                                    java.lang.Throwable t)

Converts a Throwable to an ErrorItem

Parameters:

logMessage - The log message (can be null)

t - The Throwable to be converted

Returns:

The ErrorItem

toErrorItem

Converts a Throwable to an ErrorItem

Parameters:

t - The Throwable to be converted
